"She wins who calls herself beautiful and challenges the world to change to truly see her." -Naomi Wolf
Boudoir photography instantly became a favorite for me. Most of us women aren't models, but...all of us are beautiful and sexy in ways that we may not even realize yet. Not the 'cookie cutter' version of 'beauty' that the tv and magazine ads tell us we need to be, but uniquely and wonderfully beautiful. Rather than dress you up in some of your nicest, flirtatious clothing...I aim to capture you in something more intimate, tasteful, and true to this style. I've overwhelmingly discovered that the best Boudoir photographers out there are women. I think that women naturally feel more comfortable posing for women, and I think that women know best how to photograph the female body. I also notice that a lot of photographers advertise this style with, "Do this for your husband or your boyfriend! It would make a wonderful engagement / wedding / anniversary / valentines / just because gift!" I've got a bit of a feminist streak in me, so I say do this firstly for YOU. The empowerment that women feel once they see how they looked on the other side of of the camera lens is priceless. I want all women to see that they're sexy in a way that belongs to them and nobody else.
Of course, sharing the naughty is nice too.
